The Kisauni academy is a private educational institution which offers regular classes extending from the kindergarten to primary school. The academy started in 1995 and grew each year with an addition of new classes up to class eight. In the year 2003, the academy sat for the national primary examination (KCPE) for the first time. It offers French, computer lessons, lunch and transport at a nominal cost.

It has the benefit of professionals and experts in education management who are behind the teaching staff. The pupils undergo an eight year course which leads to Kenya national primary education, taught in accordance with the primary school syllabus as set by the ministry of education.
The school recruits and employs experienced and trained teachers from a minimum of certificate in early childhood education for the nursery section and P1 teachers for the primary section. Through the above requirements coupled with teamwork and support from parents, the school has tremendously managed to excel in all spheres of academics and co-curricular activities leading them to be awarded the best improved school in the district 2007.
